I Have Three Faces.

Born in Fujisawa, Kanagawa in 1982, Shinpei is the founder, CEO and CTO of TIER IV, and a co-founder and chairman of the Autoware Foundation. He also works as an associate professor for the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology at the University of Tokyo.

  • Our main office is located in Shinagawa, Tokyo. It is in the center of Tokyo and easy to access from almost all modes of public transportation.

  • Our office has a garage where we can develop & build autonomous vehicles.

  • Our 2nd floor has a common space where our employees can communicate and make events occasionally.

    TIER IV offers flexible work arrangements,

    including contract and part-time.

  • Working hours : Flex time system(Remote work available)

Summer Holiday:3days(between July to September)

    ※Excluding new hires on July and August of the current year
New Year’s Holiday:6days

    ※Depends on the company calendar, including New Year's Day.

    Many TIER IV members work on a flextime schedule (without a fixed core time) that enables them to decide everyday work schedule. This system allows people to have more freedom in their work-life balance.

  • 20 Days Paid Vacation

    We offer 20 days of paid vacation for the 1st year (in general 10 days in Japan). This is because we believe people need a bit of time to adjust themself to new environments. Therefore, we would like them to take a longer vacation to keep them fresh.

    We have several groups which are focusing on different activities, such as motorbiking, climbing, fishing, skiing, etc.
