STUDENT RESEARCHERS

This program aims to offer financial support to the research activities of masters and doctoral students who share TIER IV’s vision “The Art of Open Source, Reimagine Intelligent Vehicles “ and are fully motivated to make it a reality. By combining challenging research projects by students and ambitious projects by a start-up, this program aims to create opportunities for talented students to immerse themselves in research, enhance their research capabilities, and produce results that contribute to the future of the autonomous driving industry.

BENEFITS PACKAGE

  • Events

    We occasionally hold events, such as the end of the year party, happy hours, etc.

  • Flextime

    Many TIER IV members work on a flextime schedule (without a fixed core time) that enables them to decide everyday work schedule. This system allows people to have more freedom in their work-life balance.

  • 20 Days Paid Vacation

    We offer 20 days of paid vacation for 1st year (in general 10 days in Japan). This is because we believe people need a bit of time to adjust themself to new environments. Therefore, we would like them to take a longer vacation to keep them fresh.

  • Activities

    We have several groups which are focusing on different activities, such as motorbiking, climbing, fishing, etc.

  • Corporate Defined Contribution Pension Plan

    We offer a corporate defined contribution pension plan to support our employees.

  • Lectures & Study Groups
